    Fence Removal

Los Angeles and the South Bay

    Fence Removal

Old fencing pulled out, posts and concrete included.

Fence removal is mostly about the posts. The panels come off quickly; the posts are set in concrete and that is where the work is. We pull panels, posts and footings, along with gates and hardware, whether it is timber, chain link, vinyl or wrought iron. Where a new fence is going in behind ours, we time it so the property is not left open longer than it has to be.

    Service FAQs

Do you dig out the concrete footings?

Yes. Cutting posts off at ground level makes the next fence harder to put in, so they come out properly.

Can you do it the same day the new fence goes up?

Often, and it is worth coordinating so the property is not left open overnight.

    How it works

Three steps, no site visit needed for most jobs.

    1

    Call us

Tell us what needs to go and roughly where it is sitting.

    2

    Get a price

We price by how much space it takes on the truck and how far it has to be carried. You hear the number before we start.

    3

    We haul it away

We turn up when we said, carry it out ourselves, and sweep up after. fence removal done in one visit wherever it fits in one load.

Not sure what yours would come to? Send a photo and we will price it before anyone drives out.

    What decides the price

Nobody can quote this trade honestly without seeing what they are looking at — the same reason a mechanic will not price a repair over the phone. But there is no mystery to what is being priced.

    Space, not weight

You are paying for room on the truck. A pile of empty boxes can cost more than the same-sized pile of concrete.

How far it has to be carried

At the curb is quicker than an upstairs back bedroom, and the price follows the work.

    Stairs and tight turns

A sleeper sofa down a staircase is a different job from one on a driveway.

    Anything needing special handling

Paint, chemicals, tires and some electronics cannot ride in a general load.

Flattening boxes and stacking things tightly genuinely reduces what you pay. It is the one bit of prep worth doing.

    What we take

Almost anything two people can carry and that is legal to put in a truck. Furniture, appliances, mattresses, garage and attic clutter, yard and construction debris, office and retail fit-outs, whole-property clearances.

If you are not sure about something, send a photo and ask. It is a thirty-second answer.

    What nobody can take

These are refused by every hauler, not just us — they are governed by disposal law and go to a household hazardous waste drop-off instead:

    • Paint and solvents
    • Motor oil and fuel
    • Pesticides and chemicals
    • Propane tanks
    • Car batteries
    • Asbestos
    • Medical waste
    • Tires (varies)

Pull these out of the pile before we arrive and everything else can go on the truck.

There is usually one thing people are not sure about. Ask before you book, not after we arrive.

    What customers say

"Love these guys. Saved me big time, after Amazon stiffed me with a used mattress they were supposed to take away. These guys could tell I was in a pickle and got to me at the end of their work day. Solid people I will be definitely patronizing in the future."

    — Prof. Tru

"Excellent service all around. Kenny is straight forward and professional. I went with Apex because their truck looks professional and they answered my call quickly with a quote in minutes. I'd recommend working with Apex if you need something done right the first time."

    — Robert Robles
