    Services in Koreatown, CA

Koreatown is dense, it is mostly apartments, and almost every job here is decided by the building rather than the contents.

    Services

What matters is the floor, whether there is a service lift and when the building will let us use it, and where a trailer can legally sit while we load. We have done enough of these to ask the right questions up front. Tell us the unit number and the floor when you book and we will sort the access with the building rather than turning up and finding out.

    How a Koreatown job runs

    1

    Call and describe it

Tell us roughly what is there and where it is sitting. Most jobs can be priced over the phone.

    2

We give you a price first

You hear the number before anything moves, and you are free to say no. Nothing gets loaded on a maybe.

    3

We load it and sweep up

We carry it out from wherever it is — upstairs, garage, back yard — and leave the space clean.

Not sure what yours would come to? Send a photo and we will price it before anyone drives out.

    Services in Koreatown

These are the jobs that come up most. If what you have is not on the list, ask — it almost certainly still goes on the truck.

    What decides the price

Nobody can quote this trade honestly without seeing what they are looking at — the same reason a mechanic will not price a repair over the phone. But there is no mystery to what is being priced.

    Space, not weight

You are paying for room on the truck. A pile of empty boxes can cost more than the same-sized pile of concrete.

How far it has to be carried

At the curb is quicker than an upstairs back bedroom, and the price follows the work.

    Stairs and tight turns

A sleeper sofa down a staircase is a different job from one on a driveway.

    Anything needing special handling

Paint, chemicals, tires and some electronics cannot ride in a general load.

Flattening boxes and stacking things tightly genuinely reduces what you pay. It is the one bit of prep worth doing.

    What we take

Almost anything two people can carry and that is legal to put in a truck. Furniture, appliances, mattresses, garage and attic clutter, yard and construction debris, office and retail fit-outs, whole-property clearances.

If you are not sure about something, send a photo and ask. It is a thirty-second answer.

    What nobody can take

These are refused by every hauler, not just us — they are governed by disposal law and go to a household hazardous waste drop-off instead:

    • Paint and solvents
    • Motor oil and fuel
    • Pesticides and chemicals
    • Propane tanks
    • Car batteries
    • Asbestos
    • Medical waste
    • Tires (varies)

Pull these out of the pile before we arrive and everything else can go on the truck.

There is usually one thing people are not sure about. Ask before you book, not after we arrive.

    Koreatown questions

My building has rules about the service lift. Can you work with that?

Yes, and it is better to tell us up front. We book the lift window with the building rather than turning up and finding it unavailable.

    Do you do apartment turnovers?

Constantly. Give us the unit and the floor and we will sort the access with the building.

How do you work out the price?

By how much of the truck your load actually fills once it is on — an eighth of a load through to a full one — plus access, stairs or lifts, the labor time, and the disposal fees on anything that carries them. We confirm the volume with you before anything is loaded, so the number you agree to is the number you pay.

Can you give me an exact price over the phone?

A rough range, yes. An exact number, no. Photos do not show compression, true weight, how far something has to be carried or how many stairs are in the way, and a number given without those is a guess that gets revised on the day. We would rather be right than fast.

Why do you want to come and look first?

Because it is the only way to give you a price that holds. Volume, access and labor time are what a job costs, and all three have to be seen. It takes a few minutes and it means nothing changes once the work starts.

    Is the labor included?

Two hours of labor come with a full load. On anything smaller the labor is part of what we price when we look at the job, so it is in the number rather than sitting on top of it. Either way you hear that number before anything goes on the truck.

    What customers say

"Love these guys. Saved me big time, after Amazon stiffed me with a used mattress they were supposed to take away. These guys could tell I was in a pickle and got to me at the end of their work day. Solid people I will be definitely patronizing in the future."

    — Prof. Tru

"Excellent service all around. Kenny is straight forward and professional. I went with Apex because their truck looks professional and they answered my call quickly with a quote in minutes. I'd recommend working with Apex if you need something done right the first time."

    — Robert Robles

"Kenny and his team did an exceptional job removing junk from our yard in Los Angeles (90037). We called and requested same-day service, and they showed up promptly and got the job done."
